Cricket was played at Mundy?s Meadow until 1996 and was moved to Cedars due to the Wells Relief Road being sited through Mundy’s Meadow.
There have been two unbeaten sides in the history of cricket at the school under Mr Alan Whitehead and Mr Mike Stringer.
Old boys to the school include Malcolm Nash (Glamorgan) who is best known for being the unfortunate victim of Gary Sobers’ six sixes in as many balls on 31st August 1968 while bowling slow left-arm. In 17 seasons he scored 7129 runs and held 148 catches but, most importantly, he took 993 wickets.

From Bristol follow A37 to Wells. Cricket ground located centrally within the school facing Cedars House and Wells Cathedral.
